Having the same issue, spent a couple of hours trying to activate without any success.
The issues started about 2 hours ago (~ 18:45 CET) and lasted for not more than 2 hours. Currently activations should work alright.

What about this article https://support.eset.com/kb3302/?locale=en_US&viewlocale=en_US ? ESET is the only thing that was installed on both machines prior to the issue occurring.
Never heard of such issue. Did you activate Anti-Theft and created a phantom account? You can check permissions to find out if it's related to the issue described in the KB.

ESET does not change permissions.

ESET interferes with the Office 365 authentication process, which causes a password request loop of authentication failures.
Does the issue occur with the "Always prompt for logon credentials" option disabled?

I installed avast again. & then removed avast with removal tool once my pc was cleaned, I installed Esset antivirus now and it's working fine...
Smart move Just one more tip - if you want your computer to be protected from network attacks when vulnerabilities in network protocols are exploited, such as in the infamous WannaCry case, I'd strongly recommend to go for ESET Internet Security. ESET NOD32 Antivirus does not contain Network attack protection and therefore cannot protect from exploitation of vulnerabilities in network protocols at the network level. These attacks may come from other infected computers in a network and may exploit mentioned vulnerabilities to propagate over the network to unpatched systems.

There's no reason for the above message to appear when stopping advanced logging. If you temporarily uninstall ESET, does the issue go away? If so, does the issue return when installing ESET v12 from scratch with default settings ?
-
Please carry on as follows:
- try uninstalling ESET via "Add or remove programs"
- in safe mode, run the Uninstall tool
- install v12 from scratch -
If the system crashes into BSOD, configure the system to generate complete memory dumps, reproduce the crash and then provide the generated memory dump to ESET for further analysis.

Ignore the above. To disable HIPS, press F5 to open advanced setup. Navigate to Detection engine -> HIPS, temporarily disable HIPS and reboot the machine. Then try to reproduce the issue.
Don't forget to re-enable HIPS then and reboot the machine.

Unfortunately, I was unable to find any information about what Datev is and what is its purpose. Please provide more information.

We don't have the file in question so I can't tell if it's still detected or not. However, it looks that more and more antivirus companies started to detect it as well.
-
Please contact your local ESET distributor. Unfortunately we have no clue why ESET Smart Security Premium is not offered in your country.
-
To start off, please gather logs with ESET Log Collector and post the generated archive here.

I have recently noticed the same problem. Using Google Favorites- two bank websites that were saved with eset protection have lost the eset protection. Bank of America and Associated Credit Union. As I have been trying to get info., I also noticed that when using Google Chrome, it says "Not Secure" on the ese tbanking and payment protection url
That's weird. On my machine both were opened in a secure browser. Please post a list of installed ESET modules.
Is the eicar test file detected when you download it from https://secure.eicar.org/eicar_com.zip?

Does temporarily disabling real-time protection or HIPS in the advanced setup followed by a computer restart make a difference?

Firstly, we kindly ask you to post in English since this is an English forum. Otherwise moderators and most of users may not understand and be able to help you.
I'd recommend submitting a customer care request from the mobile application so that logs with all necessary information are submitted to customer care as well.

I assume that paypal.com should not be redirected to a secure browser at all. It works as a payment gateway (ie. user is redirected from merchant's website to the payment gateway and then back to merchant's website) and BPP does not work with payment gateways in principle.
You would need to open https://donate.lovetotherescue.org in a secure browser and continue with the transaction there.

Currently we are experiencing issues with activation servers. Please try again in a few moments. We hope to get the issue resolved quickly.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

Please try the following, one at a time, and see if it resolves the issue:
1, Temporarily disable Real-time protection and reboot the machine.
2, Temporarily disable HIPS and reboot the machine.
3, Temporarily disable protocol filtering. Also please gather logs with ESET Log Collector and post the generated archive here.

Are you still having issues activating ESET? There was a temporary outage of activation services yesterday but now it works alright.
Anyways, after renewing a license you don't have to do anything since the license key does not change with a renewal.

For me filtering works for standard users with enhanced protection mode enabled in IE.
Two things for you to try:
1, Make sure the following settings are not locked (ie. set by a policy):2, Try creating a new Windows user account, log into that account and check if the issue persists.
3, Enable pre-release updates to download the latest Internet protection module that fixes certain reoistry permissions on Windows 10.
Let us know about your findings.

Aha!! My bank is Bank SA, which is owned by Westpac, so you have probably identified the problem.
The website https://ibanking.banksa.com.au uses HTTP/2, hence it's not open in a secure browser automatically.

So how do permissions for a folder from which you cannot run a file look like? I assume that in case it was related to AT and the above mentioned KB, a folder on c:\ would have incorrect permissions set.
