  1. Couldn't it be that the AiO was created in the past and the selected package is no longer in the repository? What if you create a new installer and select an existing package from the repository?
  2. Currently there's basically very little difference between automatic and smart mode. This may change in the future, however. If you are ok with being prompted for an action upon detection of certain suspicious operations, choose Smart mode. Otherwise leave automatic mode selected.

  13. In order to find out the reason, the error would need to be reproducible after a computer reboot. In that case we would need you to enable advanced network protection logging prior to a restart, disable it after Windows starts while the error is reported and eventually collect logs with ESET Log Collector.
  14. Please try temporarily disabling archives and self-extracting archives in the Smart scan setup. If you have a lot of big archives or disk images on the disk, scanning them will take a long time. Disabling the said options should reduce the scan time significantly then.

  19. It depends on whether you need a family license with VPN or not. If you need VPN and ESET for less than 5-10 PCs, it's better to purchase ESET Home Security Premium and a separate license for VPN.
  20. Do you still have the ESET LiveGrid reuputation system enabled? The file was unblacklisted several hours ago so there's no reason why it would be still blocked. Should the file be still detected, please provide logs collected with ESET Log Collector.
  21. Please reboot the machine and re-scan the file. I assume it should not be detected any more.
