Hello,

is it possible to exclude some Processes from Real-Time Scanning in ESET Endpoint Antivirus? I've only saw an Option to Exclude Files or Folders.

Thank you in advance for your help,

Muggi

No, excluding processes is not possible in Endpoint products. What process would you need to exclude and why?

Hello Marcos,

we want to exclude Build-Processes of Visual Studio, because our Developers say that ESET Real-Time Scanning makes the Build Process much slower.

Please create a Process Monitor log from the time when the build process is in progress. I'd like to check what files are scanned and which of them take longer to get scanned. When done, compress the log, upload it to a safe location and pm me the download link.

Hello Macros,

I think I'm facing the same problem with Eset EA and Visual Studio 2015 on a virtual machine (VmWare workstation 12 player).

I'd like to know if there are some news about this issue.

Thank you

Hi, what was the solution for the issue.

I'm facing the same problem, tried to exclude the extensions from real time scanning but still we're facing slow building time.

The solution was to exclude the folder in which large html logs are generated.
