Administrators Marcos 5,074 Posted February 29, 2016 Administrators Share Posted February 29, 2016 If you install ERA Agent on a computer with Endpoint v5, it will configure Endpoint to communicate with ERAS via localhost. If you send an activation task, agent will get a username/password for update from activation servers and enter it to the update setup. We recommend using an http proxy server for updates to save data and download only update files that are actually needed rather then downloading all files to a mirror. If you prefer creating a local mirror, you can use the Mirror tool downloadable from ESET's website to create a mirror for whichever product versions you need (v4, v5, v6).
