Update to 7.5.74.0

I had to click on update now a 2nd time to get it to trigger the update after it downloaded it after the first update now

Get info in finder is missing the version number in the info.plist file

Had to manually open ESET as it did not reopen on its own (no Menubar item)

Detection engine was downgraded on update

 

The GUI crashed to finish the update, which added the version string to the info.plist file

hi Chas4.

it went smoother on my side. did the "check for update", the software did all on his own. i was asked to reboot, which i did. as you said, no icon, i had to manually start CS through the 'finder+applications'. no gui crash. no issue since then (still on sonoma).

The GUI crash seems to have happened due to a delayed script run finishing the install, as there was nothing visible showing the update still in process other than the missing version string in the finder, seems like a bug or 2 in the installer, I never had a prompt to restart (I didn't pick that update option)
