We didn't deny the issue. In a post above I wrote:
This is a known issue that occurs after automatic update of ESET NOD32 Antivirus to v17.

Yeah I do think having 4 home windows versions may confuse some users. 
I always felt the premium version could have done with more stuff to persuade people and a VPN may have helped with this. You may have people who want the VPN but don't need a password manager, encryption etc.

@Shepherd have you updated ESET Cyber Security v7 as the current version has most of the advanced preferences 
 

Pico update is not planned for ESET Cyber Security for macOS. Machine learning is planned.

I know they are false positives as I have reported them to ESET in the past, it is flagging some WINE files as suspicious and rather than asking me it just quarantine them

The detected trojans are ones I reported to ESET from scam emails I got. (mail program bug is downloading files even when I tell it not to), I reported them via fwd the email to ESET's sample email address.
Can you send the last ESET logs to the devs I sent in the DM so they can find the bug in the ESET GUI?
I have run an In-Depth Scan already and do a few times a year.

Did an In-Depth Scan and it took and 42 minutes and 43 seconds which is impressive for this 10 year old Mac, and that is much faster than older versions of ESET Cyber Security which would take about 2 to 3+ hours

@AnthonyQ If this issue can be temporary solved by going to the system setting - network - filters and disable/enable the ESET Web&Email transparent proxy filter, you might be hitting the same buffer full (overflow?) issue as me. I see this issue even if the machine has not gone to sleep.
Hopefully fixed in upcoming release that should be coming any day now due to missing support for MacOS 14 (Sonoma) in 7.3.3700.
The issue was also present in 7.3.2100.0, but then support told me to downgrade to 6.11.xx or wait for the next version of 7.3.xx

From ESET Support:
"They (developers, my clarification) have reproduced the issue and confirmed that it has been classified as a bug.
The communication that goes through our network system extension causes the extension to fill the buffer and cause the issue.

Unfortunately there is currently no time frame for a fix, but keep an eye on updates as it will be fixed in a future update."

Cleaning a site assumes that you will also harden it against further exploitation and install the latest version of the software and plug-ins. Otherwise the site may get infected again in the future.

Because it can be used for malicious reasons. Better safe than sorry.

It was still enabled but seems the proxy is buggy, had to remove the proxy temporary until this is fixed (then just turn off web access protection also).

If you have a license for ESET CyberSecurity for Mac, you can install ESET NOD32 Antivirus on Windows provided that you have a free license seat.

Since malware often disguise as a crack, keygen, etc. you should avoid using them regardless of whether it's for antivirus or another application.

Thanks, I usually have to wait about a week for them to respond and provide the cloud link they use (also I shared it via a cloud link in my email reply back)

The last screenshot states in English: Open now your ESET-Product on your device and connect the device manually.
But how can I do that in ESET Cyber Security?
