ESET and Little Snitch

I am running Open System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection on OS X 10.10.2

My Little Snitch firewall is quite often asking for permission to get to this or that Internet based hosts, usually a University, all asked by the scep_sci using port 7000 & 7003.
The scep_daemon is requesting less connections but to port 80.

Some of the hosts do not resolve.

 

I find it hard to trust such software, especially if I can't find documentation listing the behavior.

Is there documentation listing what hosts can be trusted for connectivity?
