Why do I need to disable password protection when updating ESET Management Agent over the network using Msiexec?

Hello.

When updating ESET Management Agent manually, no need to disable password protection, but if you install a new version over the network via Msiexec, the installation will fail with error 1603 without disabling password protection.

Why is this?

Network installation example:

Quote

msiexec /i hxxp://192.168.0.1:3128/ema/ema_11.2.2076.0_x64.msi /q P_HOSTNAME=192.168.0.1 P_ENABLE_TELEMETRY=0 P_CERT_CONTENT=BASE64_CERT_CONTENT  P_CERT_AUTH_CONTENT=BASE64_CERT_AUTH_CONTENT
