ESET Endpoint Encryption 5.3.71.0 has been released and is available for download.

  • ADDED: AES256 key support to granular and removable media encryption (only available when managed)

  • ADDED: Virtual disks are now formatted as exFat. This allows virtual disks larger than 500GB to be created

  • ADDED: Turkish Q & F keyboard layouts to the pre-boot environment

  • ADDED: A new Credential Provider has been introduced for Single Sign-On (SSO).  This change is necessary to ensure that SSO functions correctly in Windows 11 24H2

  • ADDED: Single Sign On is now supported when resuming from hibernate

  • IMPROVED: Improved security when disabling pre-boot authentication in Full Disk Encryption (FDE) now leverages the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) when the system is encrypted using TPM

  • IMPROVED: Encrypted virtual disks are now mounted as removable devices, which helps ensure data integrity

  • IMPROVED: The process of refreshing Explorer when a virtual disk is unmounted has been enhanced. Explorer is now refreshed for all logged-in users, ensuring that unmounted drives are not left visible

  • FIXED: A problem on Microsoft Surface devices where the system would not be able to boot after turning on Secured Core

  • REMOVED: 32 bit operating systems are no longer supported

  • REMOVED: Server 2012 and Server 2012 R2 are no longer supported
