O S 0
Hello, Every few days, I’ll check the ESET Protect Dashboard and look for devices with new “Security risks.” The problem is that many of them haven’t connected in the last few months. Is it possible to mute those devices and unmute them once they communicate again?
Administrators Marcos 5,267 Posted June 4 Administrators Share Posted June 4 Muting and unmuting devices can be done only manually. Are they turned off for a longer time or they cannot connect to the ESET PROTECT server?
O S 0
Some of them have problems connecting, but most of them have been turned off for a longer time. It would be convenient to move those clients to a dynamic group after they have not connected for 3-4 days. In this group, the device would be muted and would not show up in the dashboard as a security risk because it needs a restart or a new module version, which it would receive once the device is back online. Administrators Solution Marcos 5,267 Posted June 6 Administrators Solution Share Posted June 6 Currently the membership in DG is evaluated by the management agent on clients so not connecting clients cannot be moved to a specific DG since the agent cannot deliver this information to the server without connecting to it first.
