Product Suggestion (for ERA 6): Installation repair

Hi

 

On one of the machines I deployed EEA v6 to, the icon doesn't show in the taskbar. So I've gone into appwiz.cpl (add/remove progs) and tried a repair. But the repair fails as the MSI installer is no longer available (it's held in C:\Windows\Temp when it's pushed from ERA).

 

Suggestion: Store the installer in the Agent program folder instead, so that a repair is possible.

The Agent does not show up in the task bar after installation, but it is possible to check the status of the agent in the C:\ProgramData\ESET\RemoteAdministrator\Agent\EraAgentApplicationData\Logs\Status.html.

Sorry, I meant the Endpoint Antivirus icon. I had installed the agent and pushed EEA, but the agent wasn't picking up the task. So I tried a repair of the agent and that's when I hit the problem.
