Recovery files from Encrypted HDD

Good Day,

Dears I have issue with one laptop we had been replaced the motherboard ,but when tries to open the windows the HDD is not show up , What we do to recovery the data if the motherboard was changed ? ,

Hi @AhmedDeban,

Not sure if this is for EFDE or EEE, but so long as you can access the Recovery File from either EP Console or EEE Server, you should have no issues decrypting this disk via the following methods:

EFDE: https://help.eset.com/efde/en-US/recovery_data.html - Recovery File required no matter how you encrypted.

EEE (Managed): https://support.eset.com/en/kb7160-decrypt-a-managed-system-that-is-unable-to-start-windows - Recovery File should only be required if you used TPM to encrypt.

EEE (Standalone): https://support.eset.com/en/kb7146-decrypt-a-standalone-system-that-is-unable-to-start-windows - Just need to use the Admin or User FDE Credentials.

I tried but Disk Enumeration failed.
