Mic not working intermittently

I have ESET internet security version 16.1.14.0 on my ASUS TUF A17 and I'm pretty sure it has been causing my mic to work intermittently. Some days it works and others it doesn't, and if it's working and my computer restarts, it stops working. What can I do?

If temporarily uninstalling ESET makes the issue go away and returns after you've reinstalled ESET, please raise a support ticket for further troubleshooting. Otherwise something else must be causing it.
