bulk configuration import

Greetings,

i need to update the configuration of a group of devices over the network.
i have set the configuration for one device and exported it to xml file.

i remember before ESET ERA 6 i used to select clients then do a configuration task > select desired xml file to push to clients. just couldnt find this kind of task anymore.

The configuration of ESET security products is accomplished via policies, ie. you click a particular dynamic or static group or select desired computers and then select Manage -> Manage policies from the menu:

thank you for your reply, this will allow me to import the working xml config file and apply to the group ?

If the endpoint connects to ESET PROTECT, you can request the configuration and convert it to a policy in client details:

At ESET we would be likely able to convert an existing config xml to a policy if the above is not an option.
