yusyk 0
Company uses laptops Lenovo P15s or T14s. They run on Windows 10 64-bit. I have created bootable USB with ESET SysRescue on it. While I boot from this USB and choose option "Run ESET SysRescue". Software stops working. I can only see gray screen with name of the software on top of it. Waiting doesn´t help. For USB creation I used Rufus 3.21 with different boot options. Also I have tried different laptops and USB-sticks.
Administrators Marcos 4,694 Posted April 25 Administrators Share Posted April 25 You can try creating an Ubuntu Live USB as per https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/create-a-usb-stick-on-ubuntu and see if you can boot to the OS. Anyways, ESET SysRescue will be discontinued later this year so there's no further development on it.
yusyk 0
Does ESET plan to develop another solution? Or I need to search solution in another products?
Administrators Marcos 4,694 Posted April 25 Administrators Share Posted April 25 No, we don't plan any replacement for it currently. Do you have a rootkit in the system or system files infected with a virus that you need to use ESET SysRescue? Otherwise it should be enough to run a standard scan from Windows.
