thae 4
Hello, is it possible to archive older events from ESET Inspect to another share/system and if we need the events in case of an incident, can I just copy them back onto the Inspect server? Which files would I have to backup? I think they are in the database folder according to here. Would the files be named events#p#part20230227_00_00_00.ibd which I can backup? So which files can I archive and can I just copy them back to the same folder if I need them again?
Administrators Marcos 4,718 Posted March 30 Administrators Share Posted March 30 We recommend creating a full db backup as per https://help.eset.com/ei_deploy/1.9/en-US/migration_process_mysql.html.
thae 4
Okay noted, but that doesn't really satisfy my use case. Is there a way, even if not recommended, to move the necessary files to another share to "archive" them?
Administrators Solution Marcos 4,718 Posted March 31 Administrators Solution Share Posted March 31 I can't think of any other recommendations but you can try raising a support ticket.
