WyattM 0
I'm experiencing some issue with PDQ Deploy as it fails to connect to a device while on a wireless network. When connected via ethernet the issue is resolved. Could ESET Endpoint Security be blocking anything from PDQ Deploy while connected via a wireless network? Administrators Marcos 5,243 Posted March 22, 2023 Administrators Share Posted March 22, 2023 If you run the Firewall troubleshooting wizard, do you see a related communication among the recently blocked ones? Does allowing it or temporarily pausing the firewall make a difference?
WyattM 0
Running the Firewall troubleshooter I found that it's blocking our PDQ Server on TCP 139, 445, and ICMP
Administrators Solution Marcos 5,243 Posted March 23, 2023 Administrators Solution Share Posted March 23, 2023 Probably it would be enough if the server's IP address was in the trusted zone. Please check Network protection -> Known networks if the network with the server is in the trusted zone. You can explicitly add it in the trusted zone under Network protection -> Zones -> Trusted zone. WyattM

Thanks for your help, I managed to solve the issue by navigating through the Firewall Wizard and finding out what exactly was being blocked for PDQ. Adding the server IP via a Trusted Zone also helped!
