Recommended Posts

hello

one of my users forgot his password and got locked out from his pc rdp - in this eset page , i can see RDP.attack.bruteforce

All is good but how can i resolve this and give him access to his machine again ? should i create an exclusion ?

Please elaborate more on the issue. Is the user unable to log in locally or only via RDP? After a brute-force attack detection the user should be able to log in after 10 minutes again.

I assume it should be possible via Setup -> Network protection -> Temporary IP blacklist or from the ESET PROTECT by applying a policy with the appropriate IDS exception.
