Cardynal 0 Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 When I run a scan of my computer, I get quite a few items that could not be opened. I'm certain they are presents left by the trojan that Eset removed on the first scan. To get rid of the remaining , I'm going to need to scan and neutralize it before other programs can get them going. So... How can I schedule Eset to run at system bootup before Windows starts?

It is normal that some files are exclusively used by the operating system and thus are locked for other applications. Also the number of not scanned files depends on your permissions; generally more files are scanned if you run a scan as an administrator.
