After Eset Upgrade to v8 some dekstops are blocking incoming connections.

Any idea why, and how to resolve.

What product is installed on clients - ESET Endpoint Antivirus or ESET Endpoint Security? What kind of communication is blocked? In EES the firewall blocks all non-initiated inbound communication and allows all outbound communication by default.

Hi Marcos. It is ESET Endpoint Security. Inbound traffic is getting blocked. Cannot ping to device or map a network drive.

Ping and sharing is enabled only in the trusted zone by default. Check Known networks and make sure your local network is marked as Home/Office network. It should work also with "Use Windows settings" provided that it's trusted by Windows.
