Aeliar 0 Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 We lost our original ERA and I will have to spin up a new one. Will I be able to create a new GPO for the Agent Install so it will do a repair installation so the agent can point to the new ERA? So far I've created a new GPO that would upgrade the current GPO for the Agent Install - but it appears they are failing and when I do a repair install manually it is trying to pull down the information from the old ERA where I had the GPO linked too. Not sure how to move forward as using the removal tool and reinstall will be a very long task.

Aeliar 0 Posted October 30, 2020 Author Posted October 30, 2020 What would be the best way to uninstall using Group Policy? The last time I tried we had failures and was directed to using the uninstaller in safemode.
Administrators Marcos 5,739 Posted October 30, 2020 Administrators Posted October 30, 2020 As far as I know, software installed via GPO should be uninstalled via GPO. If you push installation via other means, it will cause a problem with uninstallation or upgrade and you will need to resort to using the Uninstall tool in safe mode.
