cmason.codegate 0
We have multiple installs of EndPoint v7.1.2045.5, for the last few days all users have complained about error messages displaying when trying to update. On further inspection, the update page of the app is displaying: Modules Update Failed - Download Interrupted Product Update Failed - Download Interrupted This has only started happening this week, last week it was all fine. Is there a problem within ESET that is causing the updates to fail? We also run Security Management Centre and keep a track of users via an agent. Any help to get this back working would be appreciated.
Administrators Marcos 5,404 Posted September 3, 2019 Administrators Share Posted September 3, 2019 This used to happen when FortiGate was used. Couldn't it be that you're using it too ?
cmason.codegate 0
Hi Marcos, what FortiGate was causing the problem? We haven't seen this issue occur until yesterday when everyone came back following the weekend.

Here's an example of such corruption: https://forum.eset.com/topic/17535-eset-corrupted-file/ We can check if the same corruption occurs in your case. Please enable advanced network protection and update engine logging in the advanced setup -> tools -> diagnostics and manually run update to reproduce the issue. Next disable logging, collect logs with ESET Log Collector and provide me with the generated archive.
