OzRadar 0 Posted March 6, 2014 Share Posted March 6, 2014 I downloaded Free M4a to MP3 Converter from hxxp://www.maniactools.com/soft/m4a-to-mp3-converter ESET Smart Security, lastest version, detects that it is Win32/Somoto.E potentially unwanted application. Arakasi 549 Posted March 6, 2014 Share Posted March 6, 2014 (edited) If a file was flagged by ESET and has a description, alias, or moniker for the threat, chances are it is already residing in ESET's database. Potentially unwanted application detection is an optional module and detection type for the software. The user specifies if they would like to detect these threats and it can be turned off in the Advanced section of the UI. How do I configure my Windows ESET product to detect or ignore unwanted, unsafe and suspicious applications? After disabling you could proceed to download your convertor as normal, but i don't recommend disabling this feature or detection system.
