Slowness Issues Cyber Security for Mac & macOS Mojave

I am having continuous issues with ESET. I have uninstalled and reinstalled which hasn't helped. All installed modules are current.

I often have the spinning wheel and wait for webpages to load.

I have contacted Dashlane as this program continually hangs, they found no issue with their software install. 

I have contacted Apple who have troubleshooted and found no issues with the Mac.

If I turn off ESET, my reasonably new Mac works perfectly well.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?
