Hi,

when i download something from the net, nod32 creates a temp file inside my c:\windows\temp folder. Since i have an SSD and i download a lot of stuff every day, this is really boring. I already moved my TEMP and TMP folder to my 2TB HDD. I even moved my browser (google chrome) cache to the hard drive. But nod32 keeps creating this sort of copy file inside the temp folder, until my download is complete. The only way i can prevent this, is removing the real time scan from google chrome and my bittorrent client from the advanced options. Isn't there a way to simply tell the program to create this *.tmp file elsewhere? (on my hd would be good :P).

ESET merely uses Windows API functions to determine the temporary folder. That said, you'd need to move the Users / Documents and settings folder elsewhere and adjust the appropriate registry values as well as all users' variables to point to the new location.
