Which type of soft do I need to have a firewall and the necessary settings ?

Hello, everybody !

 I need to lock access to my PC from other PCs of local subnetwork (if possible) and from other subnetworks. I think the versions with “firewall” can help.

I don’t need the latest version, but the old version “NOD32 smart security 4.2.71.3 business edition” is enough for me.

 Is it suitable for me ?

 Does it allow to create the filter list of allowed PCs by :

-         computer IP addresses ;

-         applications which send communication request to my PC. Filter should use the port number and the exchange protocol type (e.g. for “Radmin” it will be “4899”  and  “TCP” )

Use the latest EIS v12 which contains a firewall. If you don't mark the detected network as home/office (ie. public), sharing will be disabled. Plus you can create rules to disable any other communication as well.

V4 is very old and is not supported any more. We do not recommend using any version older than v11 (home) or Endpoint 6.5 (business).
