Administrators Marcos 5,451 Posted January 13, 2014 Administrators Posted January 13, 2014 Does disabling real-time protection on the local or remote computer make a difference? What about disabling just network drives in the real-time protection setup? Is the other computer a workstation or server?
jselis 0 Posted January 14, 2014 Author Posted January 14, 2014 yes i tried but neither makes a difference just by disabling protection. shared files are on workstations and servers
rockshox 7 Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Have you tested to confirm that ESET is the problem? I ran into an issue with Microsoft's "Office File Validation" feature with network shares that caused a huge lag when opening specifically Excel files from a network share. We ended up disabling Office File Validation due to the issues it caused.
jselis 0 Posted January 15, 2014 Author Posted January 15, 2014 well i notice that wen i desactivate the eset protection i dont have any problem with office files but im gonna see this solver and will report here thanks
Administrators Marcos 5,451 Posted January 16, 2014 Administrators Posted January 16, 2014 Please be more specific as to which of the protection module needs to be disabled for the issue not to occur.
jselis 0 Posted January 20, 2014 Author Posted January 20, 2014 I have to disable real-time protection for this delay is not present i dont know what i have to do and its happend to all pc
Administrators Marcos 5,451 Posted January 20, 2014 Administrators Posted January 20, 2014 Please reproduce the problem while creating Process monitor logs on both the local and remote computer. When done, put "client_" and "server_" at the beginning of the log's name so that it's clear which is from the client attempting to save an xls file on the server and vice-versa. Then compress the logs, upload them to a safe location and pm me the download link.
