I've been asked to block USB storage on all computers and setup an email notifications that when any user connects a USB Storage device to the machine, IT Department receives an email. I managed to block the USB Storage under Device Control, and it works fine. However the email notification just does not work. I'm pretty sure that the SMTP settings are entered correctly. Pinni3 21 Posted August 22, 2018 Share Posted August 22, 2018 Until today I was almost sure it can be done by policy : setup level of logging severity on warning (for device control) setup minimum verbosity for notifications on warnings But unfortunetly it doesnt work.
