ESET Smart Security 6 is now available for download.

NEW FEATURES

• ESET Anti-Theft - helps you locate your computer (notebook) in case of a theft or loss
• Social Media Scanner - protects you and your friends against scam on Facebook
• Anti-Phishing - improved protection against phishing
• Faster scanning of downloaded files - archives are now scanned during the download to minimize the scan time after download completion
• Idle-state scan - scans files when the computer is idle to give you maximum performance when you need it for work or gaming
• Action after scan - easily select an action to be taken after scan completion (shut down, reboot the computer or enter sleep mode)

INSTALLATION
Installation over an previous versions of ESET Smart Security (v3, v4 or v5) is supported. In case of problems with installation, uninstall the previous version and install v6 from scratch.
 
LICENSING
As always, existing users with a valid license for ESET Smart Security are entitled to download and update the new version of the product for free.

Prospective customers can activate a 30-day trial version after installation for evaluation purposes.
