Password manager/Autofillplugin x64 versions

Recommended Posts

I recently upgraded from the internet security to the premium edition to experiment and try out the password manager which I have never used before.

In a very short time it became obvious that even though eset is 64bit the password manager and the autofillplugin is not,so compantability with x64 browsers is not possible unless Ive overlooked something obvious.

It would be nice if someone from the team or a seasoned user could coment on this please as I normally use firefox x64 as my default browser and now that seems impossible with this password manager.

thanks for any help

just tried and it seems you are right.

Seems silly and damn annoying why it would work on x64 chrome but not x64 firefox.

The only thing I can ghess is maybe the plugins are still in early development as well as the program and chrome got the first working x64 version.

Still annoying though as Ive always used firefox :(

Maybe try contacting eset. Could be the plugin just isn't compatible with the latest firefox version. If it is any help eset's password mabager is based on sticky password

Ive given them a dump log using their tool but was hoping that this thread would help also attract their attention because if you search back firefox x64 has always been a problem and that simply makes no sense why they would cater to one browser and not another.

maybe its just me not understanding whats involved.
