bvj 1
OS: 64 bit SLES 11.3. ERA: 6.5.417.0 I have this continual problem where ERAServer hangs after a day or two. And the only way to stop it is with a hard kill. kill -9 <pid> Same issue occurred in previous versions. Is there a debug build I can deploy to determine what's causing the hang? ESET Staff MartinK 375 Posted June 3, 2017 ESET Staff Share Posted June 3, 2017 Please report this issue to official support. Regarding the problem, is the process completelly unresponsive, i.e. there is no activity on CPU? Or process seems to be active, only specific operations (log in) and shutdown are not working?. IS there any activity in ERA trace logs located in /var/log/eset/RemoteAdministrator/Server/ ? What could possible helps us to diagnose is to provide process dump or crash dumps if generated. For this purpose, diagnostic tool is bundled with installation. In case process is not completelly stuck, killing it with kill -SIGABRT <pid> may generate crash dump in directory /var/opt/eset/RemoteAdministrator/Server/Dumps/.
