  1. I sent you the memory dump i created when it was 170+MB until i get a higher leak maybe it solve the problem
  2. Parental control is basically of no use if you are the only person who works with the computer. Password protection is important when other persons use the computer to prevent them from disabling or altering Parental control configuration set by the supervisor (e.g. parent). Block Security and Malware is not important ? i been using it in v8 and it block alot of unknown and strange sites that open when i browse
  3. I tried to turn on Parental Control but it force me to set a password to all settings and when i do any rule i must enter the password every time What about i don't have kids? i'm the only one who use the pc? i know what i'm doing? and i only use Parental Control to block Security and Malware V9 force me to set annoying password that i don't need
  4. Yes. Well, it was expected to be fixed in the final release build IIRC, but it's not. I have Beta tested V9 on XP since day 1, and the leak is the same today as it was when the first beta build was released to the public. I wouldn't have minded to test one or a few builds before the final release to verify that the leak really was fixed (that's what Beta testers are for IMO) but I guess they were confident they got the leak all sorted out. If I stay on youtube, netflix or some other video/streaming site for a few hours then ekrn.exe will eventually hit the roof and the OS will complain on too little free ram. @Baltagy, if you have time to wait then let ekrn.exe grow even more and create a new dump which you can send to ESET. They want it to be as big as possible. I did restart my system to try it again and now it's 177MB i will leave it to go more than 200+MB then i will create a new memory dump Thank you. Peter mentioned that they are interested in a dump for analysis, but they want the ram usage to be as high as possible when you create the dump. Let it grow even more if you have time to wait. I am happy you're helping out with the dump as my upload speed is so slow (: I'm slower than anyone lol, i just hope any moderator replay here so i can send the memory dump to him

  13. Memory dump and log sent when ekrn was 208mb i will try to get another when when ekrn reach 250+ if i can Update: Another memory dump sent when ekrn 256mb
  14. 112mb is not high, until 150mb it's good I'm uploading memory dump while ekrn is 207mb, when i can get another one 250+ i will upload it too
  15. When i replayed to you it was 122mb but now it's 193mb, i will try to wait until 250+ and take a memory dump I have a power problem in my country so the power may go off 1 or 2 times sometimes so i will take a memory dump as soon as i can in case my power go down
  16. I restarted to see if the problem will come again, anytime i see memory leak i will create a memory dump with SysInspector and send it to you for sure
  17. After Internet protection module: 1173B.3 (20150324) memory leak back again, my system up time 1d 20h and ekrn 187mb memory
  18. When i do that it work, what i'm saying if i can move the rule up the rule will be for all programs better than creating a rule for each program Moving rules up or down makes you can control more In case you haven't seen Endpoint Security v6, it has a firewall which evaluates rules in the order that you can customize. This will be possible in ESS v9 too. Ok i will wait v9 beta to test then, Thanks
  19. When i do that it work, what i'm saying if i can move the rule up the rule will be for all programs better than creating a rule for each program Moving rules up or down makes you can control more
  20. I have two rules one for Firefox that allow it to connect to all and a rule to block ips for all programs If i unchecked Firefox rule, ip rule works fine and if i choose Firefox in ips rule it work In firewall if i can move the rule up and down i can make the ips rule to all programs and move it up of Firefox or any program rule so i can make it apply for these rules If i can't move the rule up or down i must make a rule for each program, Example if i want this ips rule to apply for Firefox and IE i must make two rules for each of them, so moving the rule up or down is better in my opinion
  21. I tried to block some ips by firewall but i found something When i allow Firefox and then create a rule to block these ips i can open the site normally, but then i remove the allow from Firefox the rule works fine And that ESET Smart Security firewall don't work with rules step by step and i can't move the rule up or down How i can allow Firefox to open any site and block these ips only? and why firewall not working like others firewall to order the rules from up to down? Update: I find that when i don't choose application for this rule it should apply to all programs but id didn't, when i choose a program like Firefox rule works, so if i can move the rule up without choosing an application will be a good idea to make the rule for all applications Sorry for my bad English and thanks
  22. It's working fine with me too after IPM 1159B 13 days now and mem 123mb
  23. if you can get memory dump and send it to them it well be cool, maybe something else casing this memory leak for me now 2d 18h ekrn.exe 124mb
  24. This is not a problem of 8.0.304 as such. Make sure you have Internet protection module 1156B installed. A computer restart will be required to fix existing leaks. mine are 1154B
