  2. The error persists after multiple log-off and log on sequences. It also persists after multiple server restarts. When is the new configuration editor due to be released?
  3. When I try editing policies in ESMC , I get an error. Any idea how we can get back to editing policies? ESET Security Management Center (Server), Version 7.0 (7.0.577.0) ESET Security Management Center (Web Console), Version 7.0 (7.0.429.0) Here is the message: ERROR WHILE INITIALIZING CONFIGURATION EDITOR.: (TYPEERROR) : ((INTERMEDIATE VALUE)(INTERMEDIATE VALUE) , K).INITCONFIGEDITOR IS NOT A FUNCTION
  4. As a practical matter, I am not sure how useful a EOL'd security product is for your clients. If I am reading the chart correctly, v6 is six years old and lost support two years ago.
  5. Thanks. I want it as aggressive as possible. As soon as client is removed we need an email alert. That is after all, the very first thing an evil doer does -- they remove eset.
  6. We have a half dozen computer that went from being fully protected to having no protection. Is is possible to get an email when that happens?
  7. 10% of my endpoints report the rDNS name in the Remote host data field ([dbo].[tbld_remote_host].remote_host). It would be better for me if 100% reported the remote IP address. Is there a toggle switch to make this so?
  8. In Windows, I can create & deploy a "Security Management Center Components Upgrade" client task. I am not seeing the same option for macOS. Where is it hiding? When I click "Server": I only see options for Windows: It seems there is an updated agent:
  9. You did it! Thanks. Using custom headers, I am able to specify who gets my reply message Wednesday morning. Here is the report: And the group that identifies the computers in need of attention: RMM, I don't need no stinking RMM, I have ESMC!
  10. What is the best way to get an email when systems enter this dynamic group? Or, perhaps better, a daily email listing computers in the group? The plan is to set the minimum to 20GB, and perform scheduled updates.
  11. I used KB66666 ot create a dynamic group designed to identify computers with less than 1GB of available space. If it is to be believed, a third of my workstations have less than 1GB of space. Where did I go wrong?
  12. Something was up with their site this morning. Looking at it now, all is well. Had I known it was a legitimate site, I would have snapped a screenshot or two so their admins would have been in a better position to troubleshoot the issue. I remain interested in knowing how we can report these issues to eset so they can consider adjusting things at e5.sk, in this case where Elliot got their house in order, it seems prudent to put them on a watch list.
  13. Is there a way to get this information back to eset so other organizations can benefit from our find?
  14. What is the procedure to get a site blocked in endpoint security? If you search for "t-mobile president's office", the first result is: https://www.elliott.org/company-contacts/t-mobile/ The site should be blocked ASAP
  15. I didn't see the move to group option, it's somewhat better than the drag computer into group approach. Not having move to group in details is a workflow issue. Ordinarily, when adding a computer to ESMC, we run the installer, the computer shows up in a default group with only its name in the description field. We open details, edit the name and (until now) change its group to an appropriate group, click OK and we are done. The new way of doing things adds a step, every step creates the opportunity for an error to occur. Besides, there is no reason for us to edit the static group's name within the computer description page, this is inconsistent and makes no sense, it was a bad idea and should be fixed.
  16. Description: Change parent group within computer details Detail: In ERA you could change the parent group when viewing details. Now, if you select parent group, you are prompted to rename the parent group, this is something that is rarely done. In ESMC, you change parent group by dragging the computer into a new static group, I am not a fan of that approach.
  17. Love the AMTSO site - thank you. I also found https://www.phishtank.com/phish_search.php?valid=y&active=y&Search=Search but this is a bit complicated for end users.
  18. If I download an EICAR test file eset will block the file. Is there a test website I can browse to verify that Endpoint Security is blocking malicious sites? Similarly it would be useful if I could send an email, then get a reply that would trigger eset.
  19. I am trying to get a list of all computers with Corel applications. When I run the report & export to a CSV file, I end up with 26,000 lines of data, but no way to link the information back to a specific computer. I am using the standard ESMC / Installed applications - by Computer report. Is there a better way?
  20. @GCG would you mind sharing tomcat.zip? When I tried downloading the file, it said I lack privileges to do so. Are you or members of your team planning on attending February's conference. We haven't been there for several years, the last time we went we really enjoyed the trip. It would be good to mingle with other MSPs using eset. We are in St Louis, Missouri
  21. In our environment, it is rare that an endpoint is renamed, however I wouldn't want that to initiate a name change in ESMC.
  22. To make certain the agent is installed, we have included a call to ESMCAgentInstaller. I have inserted these lines on top of the standard batch file: set _prd=ESET Management Agent wmic product get name, version /format:csv | findstr /c:"%_prd%"&&(goto :eof)||(echo %_prd% no instance) They check to see if the agent is installed, if so, it exits. If we had something similar for Endpoint Security, we could easily add it to our login script, making end of day uninstall feasible. OR a trigger action that says if member of group 1 AND a windows workstation AND no endpoint security, then install endpoint security.
  23. Wouldn't that require that we pay constant attention to ESMC? Or is there a trigger option I missed that says if computer is in group 1 and has no endpoint protection, install endpoint protection?
