Detecting issues with ESET Endpoint Security from CLI/script

Recommended Posts

Hello,

We use ESET Endpoint Security on our macs and we already have a script run by our MDM solution that detects if ESET is running and notifies users if it doesn't. But, we have many workstations where ESET is running, but is not allowed Full Disk Access, or has some other issue. Is there a way to detect these kinds of problems via script?

I was able to get some info by running /Applications/ESET\ Management\ Agent.app/Contents/Scripts/info_get.command, which generates a .tgz archive containing logs, but this is very slow, it generates gigabytes of output and it's not even that good at detecting the problems.
