Chas4 10
I had to click on update now a 2nd time to get it to trigger the update after it downloaded it after the first update now Get info in finder is missing the version number in the info.plist file Had to manually open ESET as it did not reopen on its own (no Menubar item) Update module 1085 (20231103) Antivirus and antispyware scanner module 1615 (20240806) Detection engine 29748 (20240819) Archive support module 1352 (20240729) Advanced heuristics module 1229 (20240610) Cleaner module 1024 (20240617) Translation support module 2016 (20240722) Internet protection module 1480 (20240614) Web content filter module 1087 (20240130) Database module 1126 (20240708) Rapid Response module 24823 (20240819) Mac/Linux support module 1050 (20240710) Configuration module 2138.1 (20240712) Network protection module 1695 (20231204) Cryptographic protocol support module 1088 (20240718) Detection engine was downgraded on update The GUI crashed to finish the update, which added the version string to the info.plist file
Chas4 10
Should I attach the crash log here or in a DM @Marcos?
sesk 23
hi Chas4. it went smoother on my side. did the "check for update", the software did all on his own. i was asked to reboot, which i did. as you said, no icon, i had to manually start CS through the 'finder+applications'. no gui crash. no issue since then (still on sonoma). Chas4 10
The GUI crash seems to have happened due to a delayed script run finishing the install, as there was nothing visible showing the update still in process other than the missing version string in the finder, seems like a bug or 2 in the installer, I never had a prompt to restart (I didn't pick that update option)
