mikechWa 0 Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 There was a lot of background activity on my old XP computer. I would be doing nothing and the processor fan was just going-to-town. I finally used the NETSTAT command (also NETSTAT /a) and confirmed that this deploy.static.akamaitechnologies.com was using my computer. They use different ports each time they log in and they put random numbers after their computer name, so it isn't the same name twice, either. I found a few pages on Google that offered advice, but none of them removed this or blocked it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :0)
