Unable to Password Protect Settings

I have had ESET Endpoint Security password protected for years setup just like here.  https://help.eset.com/ees/8/en-US/password_protected_settings.html

However today I have noticed that the settings are not password protected.  Is this a bug by chance?  All endpoints are running Windows 11 Enterprise.

Thank you.

if there was a policy enabling password protection applied on the client, the only way how to overcome it would be by enforcing another policy that removes password protection or by unassigning the policy from the client.

What would be the best way to do this globally? I have "removed" the password. Waited, set a new password and waited and yet nothing is happening.

Has the policy that disables password protection been removed and is no longer being applied on endpoints?

Hi Marcos,

I ended up opening up a support ticket.  The issue was for some reason, a conflict in policies.  The issue has now been fixed.

Thanks.
