tl_bln 0
We use ESET MailSecurity and ESET Protect to manage them. We have a lot of Exchange servers and need some reports for security-related evaluations. This includes a monthly report about the types of viruses and their number in the past month. I have created a report that contains all data and a task that creates the report via CRON (0 0 6 1 * ? *) at the beginning of a month and sends it to a specified mail address. So far so good. For a better clarity I would like to have the corresponding month of the report or at least the date in the file name. Since the name of the report is always used as the file name, I would like to know if there is a possibility to use variables here. Or are there other ideas for a solution? Thank you very much for your help.
ESET Staff Zdenka 0 Posted August 18, 2023 ESET Staff Share Posted August 18, 2023 Hello, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, currently there's no option to add variables into the name of the scheduled report file, however we will track this as a request for further improvement of our reports. Thanks again for the suggestion!
