ESET Protect - allow TCP traffic for monitoring

Recommended Posts

Hello.

I'm taking over administrtion of an ESET Protect server which is deployed to our windows machines. I am bringing on a monitoring solution that requires me to be able to connect to certain windows servers on TCP/9182. The local machine's firewall says it's managed by ESET, so I can't make the changes there. Where can I find the documentation on how to accomplish this through the ESET Protect server. It's isn't immediately clear. Thanks.

If you have ESET PROTECT installed on a Windows Server OS, you should have installed ESET Server Security on it. However, ESET Server Security does not contain a firewall so it should not be blocking inbound communication. Couldn't it be that you installed ESET Endpoint Security on the server?
