Broni 2
Every time new version of Eset is installed it asks me to optimize anti theft settings (i. e. creating phanton account) and it was done before already. Why is it? I'd think, it should be done once not to bug me about same thing after each update.
Administrators Marcos 4,717 Posted November 14, 2019 Administrators Share Posted November 14, 2019 Have you encountered the issue always after upgrading to a newer version? E.g. from v11 to v12.A, from v12.A to v12.B,C,.. ? It's a known issue with upgrade to v13 but we are not aware of older versions being affected and we didn't get any such reports from users to my best knowledge either. Broni 2
I'm with 13v now and I believe same thing happened when upgraded from 11 to 12. On a top of it.... I optimized about an hour ago and just couple of minutes ago it asked me to do it again.
Yosef Hayyim 0
I've had a similar experience just now: Asked to create a phantom account, which I'm sure I did about a month ago.
