silverhow 0 Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Using Windows 7, when I try to logon to Lloyds, Eset says "Banking and payment protection - opening secure browser". It takes a long time but eventually it says "Secure browser opened". However, the secure browser window that has popped up does not work. After a further long time (minutes), a window pops up that says "Unresponsive script. A script on this page may be busy or it may have stopped responding. etc. etc." If I tell it to continue, after a further long time, the message pops up again. If I tell it to stop the script, it hangs. Occasionally, it does seem to get to the password input and security questions. It does very occasionally, work OK - but it seems to be getting worse - and, right now, I can access my account only on my Android Smartphone. Can you help, please.
itman 1,790 Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Lloyd's has been subjected to a targeted attack as noted here: http://www.welivesecurity.com/2017/01/24/lloyds-banking-group-hit-distributed-denial-service-attack/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+eset%2Fblog+(ESET+Blog%3A+We+Live+Security) . Are you still having BP&P problems?
silverhow 0 Posted January 28, 2017 Author Posted January 28, 2017 Thanks for your reply. Lloyds with the Eset browser is OK now. The date I was having problems was not the same as in the report - but maybe it was happening again.
