Hi Support, I've tried to call your UK support number, but it's engaged. This morning we're getting lots of notifications about the JS/ScrInject.B trojan HTML/Refresh.BC trojan, from staff seemingly visiting innocuous websites. Could this signify some sort of outbreak, or a lot of false positives? I have enabled this under Antivirus > On-demand computer scan, and it isn't clearing any of the threats. What should I do?

So as this is a scheduled "on-demand computer scan", I should change the policy for Antivirus > On-demand computer scan to be the "In-depth scan" profile? Would I change the cleaning level under the Threatsense Parameters section of Antivirus > On-demand computer scan?

Hi All, We're in the process of moving from v5 to v6 ERA. I've added around 35 machines on v6, and they are scheduled to run an on-demand scan. Coupled with this I have a report that generates active threats. This has flagged up lots of active threats on the PCs, albeit not very serious ones, but each threat has "action selection postponed until scan completion". How do I get these threats quarantined on the machine? I have checked the on-demand scanner settings for the policy applied to these PCs, and it's set to "normal cleaning". Thanks

I used the agent install task to upgrade the agent. I found component upgrade did nothing.

Hi folks, We're a school on the verge of migrating from ERA v5 to v6. I am testing the deployments at the moment, and have a classroom with the ERA Agent v6, but the v5 software. The latter has been installed for almost a year. Since installing the agent the machines are randomly locking up. They are Windows 7 PCs. Is this to be expected? I am going to push ahead with the test classroom and deploy EEA v6 anyway, but I'm concerned that there is a conflict between the agent and EEA v5. Note, we are still maintaining a server with ERA v5, and have setup a new server with ERA v6. Thanks

Hi folks, I'm trying to setup a dynamic template that's based on domain membership, but I can't see a field that's relevant. ESET support helped me add the two domains we have to the system, and one is nested inside the other in the Computers section of ERA. We're a school, so have staff computers with one policy, and student computers with a different policy. These machines are in two separate domains, for staff and students. Thanks

I hadn't tried that, but with these test machines I ended up manually installing. I tried recreating the task for a further test machine, and curiously that has now installed. So I will try that for further tests. (I need to roll this out to 500 PCs, so *really* want to get the task based deployment working from the ERA)

When I try and upgrade to a newer v6 EEA it fails. When I look in the TRACE.LOG on the client I see messages over and over about the server actively refusing the connection. Yet the firewall at least is not turned on. In this case it's ESET Endpoint Antivirus on a client. I'm also seeing that the ESET Rogue Detection Sensor is out-of-date on the server. I've tried a component upgrade, but that hasn't resolved it. I'm assuming it needs some separate upgrade?

Hi folks, Since updating to ERA Server v6 I'm grappling with how to resolve a number of tasks... I have some ESET Endpoints which are 6.0.12035.0. But the ESET Applications tab in ERA is telling me they're out-of-date. I don't see an obvious way to upgrade these endpoints. I can see a Component Upgrade task for the ERA Server, but not for endpoints. Do I just use the Software Install task? I'm using ERA Server 6.2.171.0. Thanks
