each time i go to the forum menu, i get a pop up that says - "would you like to recieve.... from this...? Very annoying - any way i can get rid od it. Just installed 1 user Internet security on a 3rd computer. I have ESS on the other two PCs. On the EIS, under HIPS - filtering mode - the default is automatic mode. // Other PC has - ESS - has smart mode. Which is the better? ALSO. - Under HIPS, ESS has enable protected service. EIS has no such option??? ALSO - ess has check screen for AMSI - EIS does not have this option. is this correct? Just asking. Thanks.

I have eset on 2 of my somputers. Love it. I have been using bit defender IS on a 3rd computer. I have uninstalled it because of an auto renew thing they have, which auto renews whether you want to or not. Uses your visa card to charge you as well. I had bought retail version, so ok therer. Question? - Does eset also have this auto renew, and if they do, can it be disables? thanks.

I keep getting a message - HIPS .... Keeps asking if i want to allow windowws, et al - to access file. About every 20 seconds. How should i set HIPS. My options are - ask every time. - remember until appl. quits. - Create rule.... Appreciate any help.

i have 14574 as of last update todate. It does not seem to be asking to update - but to UPGRADE from 9.0.408. When i do attempt an UPGRADE, it says i am at 9.0.408. Thanks.

that is - it says i need to upgrade to 9.0.408 - and i am running what it says i am not!

Every now & then i get a message from Eset that says my security version - 9.0.408 - is out of date. So i go online and do a check for upgrade. And i get a message my version is up to date. Is there a reason for this? Thanks.

i paid with Visa online at Eset site. They seemed to indicate that i was OK with ESS - that when i wanted to upgarde to ESS 10, i wwould be notified of an upgrade. I did not recieve an update installer - i was just told i was now covered for another year. I see my license is valid for another year.

i just paid for another 1 year subscript to ESS. didnt have to uninstall & reinstall ESS as i would of with EIS QUESTION. Am i now eligible to upgrade to ESS 10 After upgrade i see i am still at ESS 9.0.408.0 Thanks.

Thanks Marcos, I notice that there is an 2017 Eset Internet security. Is this different than Eset Smart Security, or just another name? I am getting close to buying 2017 - does it matter if it is SMART security or INTERNET security. Thanks.

Getting close to time to renew eset. Currently ess9. Can eset internet security 10 be "run over" ess10. Or do i have to do an unistall of ess and purchase Eset internet security 10. Thanks.

I just installed ESS on a 2nd computer. Congrats Eset on being the BEST at making it easy. Thank you. One question. This current Computer has ESS V. 381. I notice the pc on which i just installed ESS has Ver. 386. These are both single user. thanks.

I currently have Nod 32 installed on a 2nd Computer. (not this one). I bought Eset Smart Security 2016 for it - has a CD. However, my 2nd computer does not have a CD/DVD drive. How should i go about installing. (i have 1 user on this computer - i have bought another 1 user version for 2nd Computer). Thanks.

Is there any way to get windows updates on w-10? I realize this is not an ESS issue.

Probably a no-brainer question i have - i had ESS downloaded on my W 8.1 PC a while back. I am gathering ESS will be ok with w-10 which i JUST downloaded - OK - re updates, etc. Thanks.
