  1. Chas4, v7 is "endpoint antivirus" ver only. The latest "endpoint security" is 6x ver the latest:

    Liveguard is supported for Win & Linux users only, pitty....

  2. foneil thank you for the answer, but the question is why eset doesn't like Mac users.

    Mac is 17% holder worldwide, so in particular countries it can be > 50% (USA?), whilst linux is only 3% and is acppraciated and in effect supported by eset.

  3. I had to apply all politics again to dynamic group (which include PCs). It's strange, I changed nothing before.... Anything changed in politics was NOT applied to clients. Green indicator was shown near clients in console it means that all were connected. Also testing task was sent (simply start detecting) and it was successfully applied. But when I changed anything in politic it was not (i e "integrate with Outlook" or other). Since assigned all politics again (simply "assign to dynamic group" one by one) everything was done. I do not understand why. BTW when I marked all politics, was not able to assign to Win dynamic group, I had to one by one, consider to change it...

  4. Today there is same issue as in 2022, we receive the same spam mail over and over

    when I empty spam folder with 50 emails I receive immediately 100. When 100 -> 200 and so on   Problem was deceived in data UKS las year
    by the way, “Accepted file types: txt, log, zip, rar, png, jpg, etl, pdf, gif, dat, mp3, mp4, avi” thus we can’t add screen heic - > directly from iPhone, change it (!)

  5. Hello is it possible to block any unauthorized computers from accessing to a local company network thru politics ? I saw similar on the router settings by letting by particular IP, but not know how to perform it (if possible) in eset protect console

    nowadays anybody can come to company and plug-in the cable to company’s network and is IN

    The question is to protect it and only managed machines could access to local LAN

  7. We suspect this is known issue starting from already nonexistent ver 2051. We experienced this nightmare at the very beginning of July. According to some opinions of other users in v 2057  this problem has not been solved (we do not decided to run antispasmodic option unless is finally fixed). Your post looks to confirm that eset is still working on a solution

    Up to ver 2046 anti spam was working properly.  Maybe Marcos will give us any updated info

  10. we assume that this unfortunate version of 2051 has also been thoroughly tested?  after all, no one was rushing.  how much our nerves, stress, time and dedication cost all of us - because how were we supposed to know it was a mistake in the eset version.  therefore we asked for redress, one way or the other….  we were looking for the word sorry or apologize in this thread….

    Perhaps the simplest way would be simply revert to previous version instead of wading into defected solution implemented in version 2051 ? Pls note we are facing this problem for 2 months and must have antyspam off so far but in endpoint version we pay for it. We are not test users but we are customers. Does ESET consider to compensate our wasted time and break in using feature we pay for but we don’t have?

  12. one more note.  after updating to 2051, i.e. since the problems occurred, we noticed that when attaching any mailbox in outlook, the folder structure is different.  the spam folder still exists as IMAP but additionally a folder called "junk mail - this computer only" was created.  the spam folder did not have an "empty folder" feature, while this feature was active in the "junk mail - this computer only" folder.  this change applied to all mailboxes, ie individual and shared mailboxes.  after disabling the integration option with outlook and other options indicated on the print screens mentioned in the entries above, the folder structure in outlook, when connecting the account, it creates properly as before the update, i.e. the spam folder has the "empty folder" function active and the "junk mail - only this computer" folder  it does not form at all.  therefore, instead of creating the function of excluding folders from scanning that was proposed in the hotfix, eset should immediately check what it broke in the update and should immediately restore the previous functionality

    before the update to 2051, such a structure was created with the outlook integration option turned on

  13. Dear Marcos, I would rather suggest to return to the ver solution before 2051 rather then omit some folders. Please note we also use mobile ver of Outlook or Mail app (Apple) on iOS or Android with attached the same email account IMAP, for example on my iPhone there is no ESET..... What if I manually move mail from my mobile from Inbox  to SPAM folder which will be "omitted" in ESET on our PCs ? For instance on Sunday evening when all PCss are off.... Moreover, on web app junk folder is really used as JUNK (name of the folder), whilst on PC is SPAM folder (both are visible, but on web Junk is used, on PCs SPAM is used automatically). Note before ver 2051 all was fine. To consider...
