Windows install was a new install from an ISO download. I reinstalled ESET after the win install was done and then imported the settings I had previously save into ESET. BTW, I am running per-release of ESET.

These downloads only stated since I reinstalled Windows. I have a laptop and another desktop that do not download the updates.

Well I have tried everything suggested here and on Google, and I still get the downloads.

I have ESET Premium Internet Security with Win 11. I recently reinstalled ESET after new install of Windows. Since then, I get a lot of downloads from Microsoft “Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus”. Are these downloads necessary?

Do you plan to renew your ESET license? Not sure about renewal. I have a 5 Device license which runs until Oct-2023. I will do some trials before that.

The laptop is running Windows 11 Pro 21H2.

I have a three pack Premium. The two desktop update but the laptop will not. I have tried clearing the cache which did not help.

Had the same problem, clearing the cache worked for me.

I have the same problem when my computer comes out of sleep. It takes a few seconds for the internet to connect so I get the same message.

Yes, both computers are connected to the account.

I have the same on 2 computers on Windows 10. ESET Ver.14.2.19.0

What is the actual delay? 30Mins. seems a lot.

Perhaps I should have mentioned that this does not happen on a regular basis, so doing a diagnostics might not "catch" the problem.
