  1. Hi @Marcos

    One of our client is currently executing the push installation task for the fix on version 5 endpoint. The State Text status is "Package installing finished with result code 0" but when checked on client PC, the version is still not updated even after PC has been restarted. Please refer attached image.

    Kindly please advice

    Any update on the logs that I've PM you 2 weeks back ? Since that no reply from your side...

    The problem still persist till today.

  4. Hi ESET Team,

    Currently I'm facing one issue when try to download the endpoint package from the link downloaded from the ESET Cloud Administrator.

    Please refer attach image for the error. I've tried to run the installer package from few PC's  and resulting the same error.

    Any prompt response would be appreciated

  5. Hi ESET Team,

    I have a few question on disk cloning, The scenario is I want to deploy 1000 new computers with ESET Endpoint Antivirus with the ESMC agent. For that I will create one master disk clone which installed with OS and few software, including ESET Endpoint Antivirus and also ESMC Agent, So what is the best practice for ESET Endpoint Antivirus on :

    1. Activation 
    - Should I activate first the endpoint before cloning to another machine or active the product after the cloning ?

    2. Hostname
    - As we know, cloning machine will use same hostname and we will change once the cloning process is done for another machine.Will the agent report to ESMC the new hostname or still will report the original hostname from the master cloning disk ?

    Kindly please advice the best practice for the above scenario

  6. Hi ESET Team,

    Few PC's in client office, the Last Connected in ESET Remote Administrator Console is not up to date.

    When checked on the client PC, the agent is running well (refer status.html) at Agent Logs  but there is an error stated at Last Error.html which is 

    CWbemServices: Could not connect. Error code = 0x8004100a

    What could be the reason of this issue ?

    Please refer attach files for logs from ESET Logs Collector.

    Need your help to explain few thing in ESET License Administrator portal

    1. What difference between ‘Device’ and ‘Seat Name’ ?
    2. Why have device no activation date … what it mean?
    3. Why we have duplicate License for same device in ESET License list?(as below list)
    4. What does sub items mean in license (+) ?

  8. I'm trying to install ESET Endpoint Security v7 in one of my client PC. The error that i keep getting is

    "ESET' service' (ekrn) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services"

    Windows OS : Window 7 Professional

    Action taken so far, uninstall ESET Product (v6, Product + Agent ) using ESET Uninstaller) ,I alse have tried to install v5 and v6 as well still getting same error.

    What is the solution for this ?Kindly anyone please help

  9. Currently there is few servers in our client premise could not receive the Virus Signature Database Update. The error is following

    ESET File Security v4.5 -  Update Information is not consistent
    ESET File Security v6.5 -  Its updating, but the file name is index.html (So when update finish the update number still remained the old patches version)

    Server OS :
    1. Window Server 2008 R2
    2. Window Server 2003

    Action taken so far :
    1. Uninstall ESET File Security (using both method normal uninstallation & using ESET Uninstaller Tool)
    2. Reinstall ESET File Security  (Still receive the same error message after new installation)

    Any idea how to outcome this update problem
