bentrave 0 Posted August 15, 2016 Share Posted August 15, 2016 Hello all- Just upgraded from version 8 to 9 and am having issues hiding some notifications I don't want shown. Specifically, I do not want the Web Access Protection or Anti-Phishing services to run, but when they are toggled off, I can't seem to figure out how to disable all the big red warnings. I am intentionally disabling these services, but without the ability to toggle off or hide those warnings, my fear is I will no longer see legitimate warnings. Hopefully I am missing a configuration setting somewhere...this can't possible be working as intended. Thank you! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Administrators Solution Marcos 5,273 Posted August 15, 2016 Administrators Solution Share Posted August 15, 2016 By disabling web protection you significantly deteriorate protection capabilities of the product and the computer may get easier infected if connected to the Internet. You can disable the warnings in the Application statuses setup. Since ESET won't protect your computer to the full extent, do it on your own risk only.
