Unable to add the printer via Bonjour after installing Endpoint Security for MacOS ver. 8.0.7200.0

ESET's firewall prevents adding printers via the Bonjour service.
When the firewall is disabled, it works fine.

Not sure where the issue originates from. I've tried to whitelist CUPS service, and mDNS ports with no luck.

Has anyone encountered this issue?

Same here. Adding printer is only possible if you shut down the firewall.
Probably this could be fixed by a rule set in the ESET-Management-Cloud.
But we cannot find the possibility to do that. 
For Windows the possibility to change firewall rules is available, but not for Macs.

same issue. such a wonderful, well thought out release of ESET 8..   :(    can I get a refund on my licenses for all the lost work due to this 'update' ??

Couldn't it be that you had ESET Endpoint Antivirus installed before and now you've upgraded to ESET Endpoint Security with a firewall? Or you've had ESET Endpoint Security installed for a long time with firewall enabled but didn't experience any issues until you upgraded to v8.1?

we've only had ESET Protect, (cloud) and were running endpoint AV all this time. I've had to go in and completely redo the policies (even though they were supposed to be carried over from version 6)
