Please carry on as follows:

  1. Enable advanced logging under Help and support -> Technical support
  2. Send a product activation task to this machine
  3. After 1-2 minutes stop logging
  4. Collect logs with ESET Log Collector and upload the generated archive here.

Ok, same Problem here. Two new host tried to activate, both doesn`t work. Connection to Eset Protect Port 2222 and 3128 is etablished on client side. In the era log there are messages "licensed[4381]: ESET Server Security-Fehler: Cannot receive data from server: Network is unreachable". Which server is used for activation? Eset Protect ist reachable for the client, but nothing else.

In Eset Protect the EBA is succesfully synchronized.

These are the first two clients wich we want to activate with the rocky based eset protect. All other existing client was activated with the centOS based Protect Server.

Endpoints must connect to the Internet either directly or through a proxy (e.g. ESET Bridge). If it's a completely offline environment, did you activate ESET Endpoint with an offline license file?

The Endpoint is able to connect to the protect server (port tcp/2222) were also the bridge (tcp/3128) is running. In the protect we use directly our eba account, so not an offline licence. The use of http proxy is enabled (use proxy per service) through an agent policy. Or do i need also a policy for http proxy usage for activation?

Clients connect to edf.eset.com unless you use an offline file for activation. However, if a proxy server is configured properly in the Endpoint advanced setup, it should be able to connect to edf.eset.com and activate.

Ok. So the client needs to use the configured proxy to reach edf.eset.com. Is it possible to monitor the bridge access via a logfile on console? Like tail -f /.../...access.log?

Think you are right. in the policy  server security for linux is the proxy configured and the policy shows synchronized. But when i get a configuration from the host, there is no proxy configured.

The policy isn`t applied. The policy is configured with proxy, the policy is the last in line which is synchronized. But the configuration of the host shows no proxy. Any hints or should i better open a new thread.
