Cannot update ESET ANTI VIRUS

Since about a week I cannot update eset. This is on multiple computers. License is valid.

Modules update failed. Error creating file.

1) I checked the proxy and set it to none.
2) I cleared the update cache.
3) I uninstalled the program completely and reïnstalled. Reentered the key which activated without problems.
4) Rebooted my router at home.

Windows 10 fully updated.

Can this please be fixed, I think it is related to the last update.

The issue is most likely caused by incorrect permissions to a temporary folder.

Please carry on as follows:

  1. Enable advanced logging under Help and support -> Technical support
  2. Start logging with Procmon
  3. Run update to reproduce the issue
  4. Stop logging
  5. Save the Procmon log and compress it.
  6. Collect logs with ESET Log Collector and upload the generated archive along with the Procmon log here.
